You are about to get a massage , as with most massage therapist the session begins with the Massage therapist asking you if you have any painful, stiff, or even where you feel tight. After telling them where , like for example your shoulders, hoping that the massage therapist will be able to provide some relief. Now lets say they work on  you for a while without  being able to relive any of the pain or tightness. You might be a little frustrated right? Would you go back to them? maybe, maybe not.

One very important skills that a good Massage therapist  should have is to perform  to see if your  Range of Motion is optimal meaning can it go through  its normal range without pain or tightness.  ROM or Range of motion assessments can help the massage therapist  understand  or gather information  on where they would need to work  on  and also what other areas of the body that needs to be assessed as well.  It also tells them if , lets  say  your shoulder is Centrated , or  is the ball and socket is centered. From  here they should be able to assist you in bringing relief  to that area.  Also to Educate you on ways that will be able to help you helpyoruself to Move better to Feel better and to Breathe better one step one breath at a time.
