Towel Scrunches Exercises ? What are they good for?
The question when giving or doing an exercise should always be..Why I am doing this? The answer should to improve function, to move better so you can feel better,to make sure we are moving the most Optimal way (IMS) .
So why would we scrunch a towel with our feet? What function is this improving? It’s helping to stabilize the arch… Is it though? I’ll tell you what it is doing is simple it is making you be a good towel scruncher.

Now lets talk about the ” short foot ‘ Exercise . The “short foot” exercise actually not only strengthens your intrinsic Muscles(smaller muscles of the foot) , and also strengthens the arch and we also get optimal proprioception( There are nerves which are superficial or in other words on the surface of you skin) which plays an important role when walking running etc. The intrinsic muscles also play an important role in foot and ankle power or optimizing power at push off.
